Amorolfine HCL 0.25%

Amorolfine HCL 0.25% – This cream contains Amorolfine HCL 0.25%, which belongs to a class of medication called antifungal. This is primarily used to treat fungal infections. A fungal infection arises when a fungus invades and affects skin tissue. A fungal infection’s symptoms include skin rash, irritation, redness, and scaling.

How this Cream Works

Amorolfine contains ‘Amorolfine’, which inhibits the production of a substance known as ‘ergosterol’ in fungi that cause nail infections. Without ergosterol, the fungus cannot thrive. As a result, the fungi that cause infections die.

Uses of Amorolfine HCL 0.25%

  • This cream is used to treat fungal nail infections.

Medicinal Benefits

Amorolfine is an antifungal cream that is primarily used to treat fungal infections of the nails and skin, such as ringworm, jock itch, and athlete’s foot, as well as seborrhoeic dermatitis (dry, flaky skin on the face, scalp, chest, upper back, or ears) and pityriasis (scaly, discoloured patches on the chest, back, legs, and arms). Fungal cell membranes are necessary for survival because they keep undesired chemicals out of the cells and prevent cell contents from leaking out. Amorolfine creates holes in fungal cell membranes and kills them. As a result, fungal infections are cleared, and the skin is relieved of cracking, burning, scaling, and itching caused by infections.

Directions for Use

Avoid touching Amorolfine with your nose, mouth, or eyes. If it comes into contact with these places by accident, rinse thoroughly with water. Cream/Gel/Lotion: Wash and dry the affected region of your skin. Take a small amount on your finger and gently rub it into the clean, dry afflicted area and surrounding skin. Nail Lacquer: File the diseased nail. Then, lightly clean the nail’s surface. Using a spatula, remove some lacquer from the bottle. Apply the medication to the full area of the nail.
